One of the main coaching principles we use with clients when it comes to nutrition is to build up healthy habits at a sustainable pace- one at a time.
We call this the Habit Snowball, and while it takes a bit of time for the snowball to grow and build momentum, the results are life-changing and super sustainable.
3 of these habits are:
- Eat some healthy fats daily
- Eat enough healthy protein each day
- Build up to eating 5 portions of veggies a day
The great thing about this approach is that it breaks each step down into manageable tasks that don’t overwhelm people, but we then need a way to tie these habits together, and recipes are a great way of doing that.
People eat meals and recipes, they don’t eat habits, so recipes take the habits we’ve worked on and tie them into something that people understand.
If you take the above 3 habits, this recipes combines them to deliver a delicious meal that ticks so many boxes.
This recipe is packed full of flavour, is super filling and so healthy for you!!
So pick a day during the week to give it a shot and leave a comment to let me know how you get on with it.
