STEVE’S NOTE: Noelle has gone from strength to strength since joining us. Her attitude had been next to exceptional in terms of her personality in the gym and the way she trains with a smile on her face. She has recently increased her weekly sessions on advice from the coaches,from 2-3 sessions to a consistent 4 sessions per week and this has benefited Noelle massively in terms of her ultimate goals. When she cannot make the scheduled fitness class times she gets in when she can to do the fitness class herself which shows Noelle’s great dedication!
Just like many of our clients, Noelle works, has children and must also work around her husbands shifts. Time isn’s exactly available in huge amounts and it would be easy for hr to simply use this as an excuse not to get fit and healthy but she doesn’t.
I started training with Steve McGrath Health and Performance to lose fat, improve my fitness and become more healthy. After having my two kids I was constantly feeling tired, bloated and I had no energy. My stomach was very swollen and I was constantly asked if I was pregnant when I wasn’t . This was very embarrassing for me and did nothing for my confidence.
I decided I had to do something about this. My brother referred me onto the guys at Steve McGrath Health and Performance… its the best advice he ever gave me!
Before I started training I had poor habits in relation to my food choices:
- I would skip breakfast
- Eat sugary foods and drinks to perk me up due to the lack of energy
- I was having only 1 -2 glasses of water a day
After having my kids my stomach muscles were very weak due to having 2 caesarean sections. My knees and back were sore due to bad posture, lifting buggies and car seats etc. but since joining Steve McGrath Health and Performance I have really increased energy levels which has huge benefits for both self and my family. (Steve’s note:Noelle now trains much more effectively due to increasing her overall strength and posture and her pains are now much better (I can’t remember the last time she mentioned them) which allows her to train much more enjoyably and get better results).
I find the classes great as a stress reliever. I have to lost bodyfat, look leaner and am getting stronger week by week.
I recently went shopping for a wedding I am attending in October and it was great to try on clothes that not only fit me but I also felt good in! (Steve’s note: Noelle fitted into a size 12 dress after previously being a size 16).
I find the trainers are great for sharing information and they are constantly giving the members tips on fitness, nutrition, posture and mobility amongst many others things!
I find I am more mobile & I actually enjoy exercising again which is due to the coaches expertly directing my weekly schedule and overall goals while also asking about my family and how I am personally.
